For Easter this year, we went to Michigan to visit my aunt and uncle for a mini Paxman reunion. My other aunt and uncle were coming up from Maryland since their kids' spring break coincided with the Paxman's. We were gone for 6 days (!) and loved every minute of it. Here are some pics.
Timothy, the youngest cousin, loved not being the baby of the family, and got the biggest smiles out of Elizabeth. He always claimed the seat behind her in the van so he could make faces at her . . .
. . . and get faces in return.
We gathered at Grandma's for the traditional movie and popcorn. It was Elizabeth's first time meeting Great-Grandma Paxman. Notice how both grandmother and grandbaby are mesmerized by the giant TV that's off camera.
The kids (yes, that includes Adam) were treated to a laser tag game at Zap Zone and colored these print-outs to get an extra free game. It was Adam's idea, of course, to cut them out into letters. Everyone shout "Zap Zone!" (a la Trogdor.)
The bunny ears got around.
Yes, the Paxman men are certainly mature and intelligent.
And finally, everyone in their Sunday best. Thanks, Grandma G, for Elizabeth's beautiful Easter dress.
And thanks to Amy and Rick for hosting us. We had a wonderful time. See you for the real reunion in July!
