One Month

We survived. Barely.

The kids are getting along well.

Lucy is by far the chunkiest.

They're all still very sleepy.

Don't let this picture fool you. Most of the time she's pulling hair and grabbing noses. "HONK!"

People wonder how I have time to do anything on the internet. I must confess, it's kind of my drug—an escape I can take five minutes at a time. I should be napping. I should be cleaning. I should be pumping. But this is where I end up.

Happy 1 month, babies! The internet is my escape, too. Especially when it's rainy and we aren't going outside.

I LOVE the pics and am so glad you choose the internet over household things!! I'm the same way, really, what is going to get done in 5 min? It's just not worth the effort. Being a mom is so draining physically and emotionally, the last thing on my mind when I finally get a second, is scrubbing the bathroom. All summer I kept thinking, once the girls are in school, I'll have so much more time to clean, but I have even less. Maddy wants me to entertain her now that her sisters are gone. Before that, I was too pregnant and tired to even try.

I can't believe a month has gone by already. I'm happy to hear you're surviving. Everyone looks so happy. You're doing a great job!

That picture of Adam is AWESOME. Really sends the vibe of what the month has been like. I understand about the internet. You can't nap or clean or even read a book in 5 minutes so when that's the size of your windows, the internet is great. Makes me want to write some really quality posts just for you...but don't hold your breath.

I just lap up your posts and any pictures, comments, stories about life with 1 + 3. Go Johnsons!

If the internet keeps you sane, then I think it's a wise use of time and social media indeed.

Plus, we all love the updates. I figure if I can't have children, I do all I can to live vicariously through my friends who can.

Thank you for the posts! We love them. Does Lucy have red hair? It looks red in these pictures. I love red hair! Grace's hair is a strawberry blonde, but looking more and more red every day. We are very interested to see how it will end up. Keep plugging away you two, you are doing awesome!

They are adorable! William was just like Elizabeth. My poor little Henry will definitely be a tough kid thanks to his older brother! I just have to remind myself that he is little too and still learning. If I am gentle with William he is more likely to be gentle with Henry.
You are amazing! You're in my prayers!

Hard to believe it's been a month! Pat yourself on the back good and hard because the first month is a major hurdle with one newborn let alone three. You're doing a great job and those adorable babies were lucky to come to you.

Not the napping or pumping (which you could do on-line as well!), but skip the darn cleaning!

The photos are AMAZING, and the kids look wonderful. I am in awe of your strength and ability to form coherent sentences right now.

Many hugs.

Girrrrl, you should be doing whatever gets you through the day. Kudos to you and those lovely babies.

I cannot even imagine doing what you just did!!! It was hard enough to just have one. Phew! They are so beautiful though, congrats!
